Well, LSU blew it yesterday. Their offense was terrible and their defense kept them in it. They had a chance to win it at the end, in field goal territory with a minute left and their QB threw an interception. Both Georgia and Alabama won so it cost us money. Not a big deal, but we were trying to cap off an almost flawless week. Our new balance is $270.25.
Let's look at today's bets. It's UEFA World Cup Qualifiers.
- Parlay 1 ($30 to win $34.87)
- Poland (-190) vs. Kazakhstan
- Germany (-240) vs. Norway
Here's the reason for the picks. Poland is at home against Kazakhstan. The two have only played three times ever, all within the last 20 years - three victories for Poland. Poland's team is full of Bundesliga players so I expect more of the same. Germany plays in Oslo against Norway. The two don't have any recent history. Their last game was a friendly in 2009 in which Norway won 1-0. However, if you compare recent form, Germany has won 3 of its last 4 games, with the one loss coming to France in Euro 2016. Norway, conversely has lost 3 of its last 4 with its sole win coming against Iceland. Advantage Germany. The only reason I didn't bet more is because ties could happen with Kazakhstan or Norway trying to only defend.
Let's see what happens.
