Day 3

So yesterday's outcome wasn't great but it wasn't bad. We definitely went medium risk, higher reward and Toronto couldn't come though. The Twins also couldn't end their losing streak but that bet didn't really matter because that was low cash, ridiculously high reward. Overall, we only lost $7.06 yesterday because the 'break even' bet was a winner leaving us with a new balance of $196.69.

For today...

Just one parlay: MLB.

Here's the reasoning behind the parlay. 2 of the 3 teams are home teams so that's a good start. Gio Gonzalez starts for the Nationals against the Phillies. He's undefeated in August and undefeated against the Phillies this season with a 1.35 ERA in 2 starts this season. Corey Kluber starts for Cleveland against the Twins. Kluber lost his only start against Minnesota this season in May. That and Minnesota's 12-game losing streak scares me about this pick. However, Kluber's ERA has been under 2.50 since June and Twins' players are batting .209 against him in their careers. Jason Hammel starts for the Cubs, coming off his worst start of the season. His track record is what we're betting on here. That, and how good the Cubs are at home.

There was some soccer today, but I missed it. I saw Germany was playing Finland. Germany will clearly beat Finland. That was easy money. Oh well.
